When Is The Hatch Open?

The Hatch is open 24/7 for members

Erica, our Executive Director, tries to be at the makerspace everyday and volunteers are also around to help out. We love showing people around--please schedule a visit by sending an email over to erica@hatchathens.com.

Another way to visit is to come to our monthly open house event - the Hatch Hackathon. It's free, there's food and drinks, and you can meet the Athens maker community while they're in their element! Check the calendar for the hackathon and other public events each month.

Our Hackathons are sponsored by Allgood Lounge and you can help us thank them for supporting The Hatch by coming to our Hatch Happy Hour! We are there several Thursdays every month from 6:30 - Whenever. We do like to support other art and technology events around Athens and as such sometimes we move happy hour to other organizations' events. The best way to keep up to date on where we are week to week is to check our facebook page on Thursday: www.facebook.com/hatchathens
